About the Event

Dayton Track Club Training Program

Whether you are new to running or an experienced athlete, our training programs are designed with the whole athlete in mind. In addition to strategically designed workouts, each participant will receive individual guidance on gear, fueling, and the mental aspects of performance.

Training Program Coordinator & Head Coach:

Chelsey Woods - B.S. in Exercise Science, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist, and over 15 years of coaching, competitive running, and group training experience. Integrating psychology and physiology (and sometimes a banana suit), Chelsey looks for ways of moving and training that improves your performance all the way around!

Assistant Coaches/Group Leaders:

  • Emily Zimmerman -  In her 20 years of running, Emily has competed for Alter High School and the University of Dayton. She continues to celebrate her passion for running and racing as a RRCA Level 1 Coach and member of Dayton Track Club Elite. She loves nothing more than celebrating the success of her athletes and helping them achieve their individual goals.
  • Jeff Shore - As a former participant in our Training Programs and local pacer, Jeff understands the "growing pains" that come with building fitness.
  • Sara Adduchio - Sara believes ultra runners are a special breed of people--and they just have more fun! A local pacer, racer and ultra runner, Sara loves nothing more than spending her days off traipsing through the woods and chasing adventure with friends. She thrives on pickle juice, french fries and Maurten gels, accomplishing hard things, and making the impossible possible.
