Broken Toe Loop (25K)

Sunday 10/17, 7:30 am, Harveysburg MBT Trailhead, end of Harveysburg Rd (near the kiosk)

Meet at 7:30 am at the trailhead at the bottom of Harveysburg Rd (NOT the original race start location in Warren Co park).

• There is parallel parking available at the trailhead.
• We will have an electrolyte drink available at the start/finish location.
• No swag, no timing, no awards, just a great time with friends, and a wonderful tune up run for a future Broken Toe.

The course will be partially marked at intersections but it’s ultimately your responsibility to know the course (or run with someone who does) . The course maps are available on TrailRunProject app.

We will follow Harveysburg Loop, to Ward Loop, to Turkey Run, to Campground loop, and back closing those circles. Most of the turns on the course are right hand turns except 3-4 left turns (before Ward, and to break out of the road section on Campground).

The loop is about 15 miles, no significant climbing, but lots of rollers, and lots of leaves covering the roots, and a decent amount of walnuts to make it a good workout and serious trail fun.

There will be no water on the course so make sure you carry your fluids and nutrition. This course is slower than the other side of Caesar Creek Lake, but also way more fun and drains better should be have rain (thank you CORA for an amazing job building and maintaining these trails) .
