About the Event
About
In 2020, ASICS elite athlete Johnny Gregorek set out in his favorite pair of blue jeans and set the World Record for the fastest mile ran while wearing blue jeans, all in an effort to raise awareness for Mental Health.
As a brand founded on the ethos of “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body,” ASICS has teamed up with Runners Plus and Dayton Track Club to bring the Blue Jean Mile to Dayton in the name of #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth!
Proceeds benefit The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Montgomery County (OH).
