We have workout options for all abilities, and our coaches can help you navigate the option that works best for you!
For this week, the group is doing hill repeats! Park near the main Stadium entrance.Â
Workout Options:
(a) Goal - improve general strength (best for new runners, those on the mend, new to speedwork)
Warm-up 5-10 minutes (walk/jog)
10-30 minutes x hills (walk or jog up / jog down); rest 30-90s between repeats
Cool-down 5-10 minutes (walk/jog)
(b) Goal - improve speed strength (best for intermediate runners, half and full marathoners)
Warm-up 5-10 minutes (progressive walk/jog)
2 sets x (3-5 x long hills @ sustained effort; rest 30-60s between repeats); rest 2 minutes between reps
Cool-down 5-10 minutes (walk/jog)
(c) Goal - improve speed power (best for intermediate runners, up to half marathoners)
Warm-up 5-10 minutes (progressive walk/jog)
2 sets x (3-4 x short hills @ hard effort; rest 60-90s between repeats); rest 2 minutes between reps
Cool-down 5-10 minutes (walk/jog)
